Meetup for Sacramento’s Best Lebanese Food, Belly Dancing, & Baklava

Big spotting update from a quick meetup in Sactown with some of the people who almost made me like living in here. Many of them I’ve also got to hang out with in other parts of the world or they visited me while I was Bangkok. Here’s a few photos of us at a family owned restaurant called Taste of Lebanon (1433 Fulton Ave # J). Belly dancing was cool, but they didn’t let me anywhere near that giant sword. Good thing too, I might have tried to use it to coax the family in the kitchen into making me more food.

Thanks to everyone who came out, but why are there no pictures of me belly dancing?! Well time for me to say bye bye to Sacramento. It’s been real though and I remembered there’s so much here that I miss. Maybe another visit in 2011?

Yes, Dwight, where are the photos of you dancing? Your “snake arms” were great!  You’ll have to come back and dance with me again! Thank you for posting the article and pics.

Nyla, thanks for the message. No idea how you found this. I wish I had better pictures of the food and everything so I could write up a better review. Thanks and hope you’re still somewhere dancing and entertaining people, it’s great!
